Synntech is a contemporary Russia-based direct investor in the chemical industry, resource mining & processing and machine building. Its founders are professional managers with experience in building up and operating large production associations. The Company goal is to create efficient production holding companies in the industry sectors with substantial growth potential and low degree of consolidation.

The criteria guiding Synntech´s investment choices are:

• high market growth potential;
• opportunity to significantly boost revenues and reduce costs through synergy and integration of production processes;
• high production efficiency;
• low degree of risk, and reliability of investments.

Synttech´s key assets are based in Russia. Our foreign branches operate in Ukraine and Turkmenistan, and today we are looking into investment opportunities in these and other countries in the CIS and Eastern Europe.

Our first project is Timan-Pechora Gas Company (TPGK), an independent Russian natural gas producer. In 2006 Synttech completed the acquisition of a number of gas fields in Komi Republic to construct a gas refining plant there. Today, these fields are the core asset in TPGK.

During the same year the Company purchased a number of seismic and drilling service companies based in Russia?s key oil & gas areas. These companies were later integrated intoGeotech, a large independent technology holding, which now renders a range of services to the Russian oil & gas sector.

Inta Gas Refinery(IGPZ) is Synttech´s third investment project. The project provides for the production of carbon black, a hi-tech chemical product which now enjoys escalating demand in many industries.

Synttech offers to its investors the transparency, publicity and reliability of its projects. To be able to do this, we focus on:

• implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and IFRS-compliant reporting systems;
• getting our operations ready for ISO 9000 certification;
• development of career progression programs for our subsidiaries;
• engagement of lead international auditors.
